Y'know... like the PC adventure game Sam & Max Hit The Road... except, instead of 'The Road' it is 'Your Screen'... WHY AM I EVEN EXPLAINING THIS! : OYah, I'm a big Sam & Max fan, I really enjoyed that old adventure game (and the TV series)... and decided to do this wallpaper to commemorate the fact that they're finally doing a new game!
Well, series... of games... episode-thingies... whatever.Max is meant to be licking the screen there, in case you were wondering... though you shouldn't be. Wondering that is.

Great! Hey, just between fans, which do you prefer? The old Hit the Road game, or the new Season One episodes? I like the newer ones. I think they are funnier. A little too easy and too obvious, however, but definitely funnier. And better because we get to use guns. Lucas Arts had their insane and nonsensical puzzle solving and item collecting, sure, but I think it was because of them that Sam and Max were forced to, "Leave their guns at the cleaners." Otherwise, I don't think Season One had enough Max shooting and tearing perps apart. :-D

Heh, to be honest I've been waiting for the full boxed set of Season 1 to come out since I didn't want to use the download route, and it's only just come out in this country... so I can't say which is better in my opinion. I'm sure they're both good in their own ways though : T

(I think I can still remember how to make the Sam hand-puppet with a brown paper bag... hehehe XD)
I see you have quite a lot of home-made wallpapers in your gallery (especially the 'characters interacting with the screen' types)

I also notice you take most of your stylistic elements from the Sam & Max style (y'know... the lack of shoes and so forth...)

"OMG" was my first reaction. I am SO fav'ing this AND downloading the wallpaper. And there was a television show with Sam 'n' Max?? Never heard about that! But again, nothing of that kind ever arrives here in small Italy...

Yup there was a show indeed, it didn't run for very long... and hey, it came to South Africa so there's no reason it couldn't make it to Italy

You are clearly overestimating Italian tv... most channels around here only conceive animated series as small children entertainment, so generally there's a very severe -and annoying- censorship. It was already *very* surprising that we ever saw the Simpsons, the Griffins and Ranma 1/2 around here... so, being the old-adventure-games geek that I am, I probably would've known it if there was a Sam n Max series here in Italy
