CIA Intel File: GDI Project H

"Fascinating, I didn't think that Arasaka produced its own Ion Cannon designs."

"They do now doctor. Project H is proving to be a fruitful challenge for both GDI and my government."

"Still, what garauntee do I have that Los Angeles has no ulterior motives regarding the project?"

"You don't doctor. Los Angeles will produce its own units soon enough and GDI is smart enough to know not to intefere."

Re: GDI Project H and suspected Los Angeles involvement.

Ma'am

I had a look around the InOps files over at the Philedelphia while SWORDSMAN was in that meeting with the GDI directors. This is big stuff, bigger than the initial estimates and bigger than the analysts believed as well.

Project H is GDI's newest aircraft project, a monster VTOL-capable gunship armed with their latest minaturized ion cannon and fitted with systems designed to neutralize Tiberium growth, to the point where the crystal breaks down into an unusable sludge.

Initial intelligence pointed to the usual GDI tech suppliers for most advanced technology; DiggersTech, Stingray Industries, Genom, the usual suspects. However, this new intel states that GDI is working with Los Angeles corporations in creating the new gunship.

The image I've sent with the technical information recovered is typical with the company Los Angeles Concepts, but I've found reports indicating cooperation with GMLA, Arasaka, and Ducati Los Angeles as well.

I think that the suspicions of the higher ups, yourself included ma'am, are well grounded. We're looking at total Los Angeles control on the project, meaning that Project H is likely being used as a test-bed for another Super-Heavy Gunship alongside the Tu-280G.

And that means that GDI may be heavily infiltrated by Los Angeles agent's, there is evidence pointing to new transfers from Los Angeles into high-security areas of GDI's operations, particularly InOps. While this may be conjecture, I believe that Los Angeles wants control of the Ion Cannon network and utilize it for their own military gain.

It is only a theory, but evidence in future emails will show that Los Angeles is slowly gaining influence within GDI, and action will need to be taken to limit the spread of this influence.

Anyway, here's the technical data I managed to lift from the servers.

Project H technical data

Crew: Two; Pilot and Gunner/Copilot

Construction: Rolled MDC nano-alloy frame with foam-metal reinforcement, Reactive Nano-gel insulation, and zero-gravity forged nano-alloy plating treated with energy-absorbent nano-chemical solutions.

Powerplant and Engines: Ducati AGE-90073 Fusion plant with GMLA IGS-875 Variable-Vector Pulse-Detonation Thrusters.

Weaponry:
-Arasaka Model 430 Ion Cannon in retractable turret.
-GMLA M-90 'War Nail' guided rockets in reloadable 18-shot pods. Dimensional compressed magazines allow for 6000 rockets per pod.
-Los Angeles manufactured multi-purpose Joint Strike Missile fitted in internal bays with dimensional compression capacity of 400 missiles per bay.

The rest of the information is actually quite sketchy, particularly in terms of internal systems, but there are notes indicating that systems in use by Eurocorp are being considered for Project H.

If this project goes into full development and deployment with GDI, then it is likely that an enhanced Los Angeles-produced variants will not be far behind.

I'll keep a lookout for further information.

could be used in military if darpa decides they like your design enough to test it your design seems more than worthy of DARPA's attention.
