Babylon's Grim is one of the many other Trap Monster support pieces I created. It's job is straight-forward: Provide a sizeable beatstick, that also gives your Spell/Trap Monsters the amazing luxury of unaffected from one of the three main card type in the game. It also has a soft once-per-turn GY effect to re-Set your other Spell/Trap Monsters straight out of the GY, and thanks to it being a Trap, it means it can do this every single turn. Besides consistency and lack of a tangible framework to build upon, Trap Monster decks struggles with recovery and protection the most, which is something this card aims to mitigate somewhat.

Trivia: This card's stats as a monster is 2500 ATK/2100 DEF, which is considered to be the stat range for the protagonists of the anime series. Specifically Dark Magician's stats was chosen because it is a DM-era card, much like Embodiment of Apophis for the first ever Trap Monster card. It also fits in well with this monster's name containing "Babylon", the name of a famous ancient city that suposibly was technologically advanced for it's time. (Like how Trap Monsters was a new concept in the ancient DM-era.)
