That line sounded familiar, so I went back to issue 3 and sure enough it was almost exactly the same thing Sonic said to Shadow back when they first met. Seems deliberate, so that means it probably is going to affect Shadow in the way he relates to them both. Or at least create some inner turmoil for him.
Question: in the first issue the "Sons of Heephis" were mentioned as though they were a legend rather than a prophecy, but how can they be a legend if they hadn't even been born yet? Is it something that will be revealed later?

I have a theory based on issue 10: Silver asked after they all sensed the dark power coming from the temple whether or not their powers were "expanding". On top of that, we still don't know the full extent of what Shadow can do for Sonic and Silver. My theory is that his powers will expand and allow him to revive Silver. I know this is kind of like what Silver just did, but maybe he can, only once, bring Silver back to life, maybe in exchange for something of his? Maybe he has to die in order to bring Silver back and vice versa (since that is what Silver just did), so neither of them would be alive at the same time? It seems odd, but plausible.
I jus hope that Shadow transfers SANITY to Sonic!!!!!
