In a previous deviation: www.deviantart.com/gijf2k1/art… , I mentioned how Jaleel White voicing Sonic is like Jason Alexander voicing Dr. Eggman. In that it dates the performance. You may be asking "Why did you make that comparison?" Firstly, I figured that if Classic Sonic had a '90's sitcom star voicing him, why not Eggman? Secondly, I've recently been watching Seinfeld for the first time with my dad (he's seen the show plenty of times and his favorite episode is The Opposite). Incedingly, both Family Matters (the show in which Jaleel White played Steve Urkel) and Seinfeld (the show in which Jason Alexander played George Costanza) both ran from 1989 to 1998. And thirdly, Jason Alexander looks like someone that could physically play Dr. Eggman. I feel that if Sonic The Hedgehog: Wonders of The World wasn't cancelled, MGM, the studio behind it, would have had to look for a famous actor to play Sonic's main rival since they wound have probably already had Jaleel White as Sonic. And I feel that list would have included not only Jason Alexander, but also Jim Carrey (remember, this was the '90's). Who, as we all know, ended up playing Robotnik in the live-action films.
