No, i tend to avoid the inside flash of my camera, it has an over-exposure quality to it.

well-- i thought u might have used an external and bounced off ceiling. -- but no- i guess the overhead lamp would provide the same effect.

My camera (olympus c-40z) doesn't have a hot shoe to plug the external flash....

ooh-- there was a great article i read about photography with point and shoot cameras. it was quite helpful.
it was under the [link] site. but its been down all day and it doesnt look like its comming up anytime soon. ill try to remember to send it ur way once it goes up. really cool article. talks about using environmental lighting in your pictures.
