Description
In all your wisdom you made the earth for me to stand on
In all your glory you made the wind to blow my mind
In all your might you made the fire to warm my nights
In all your kindness you made me a witness of your work
****
30 seconds exposure of Wheat blowing in the wind (I thought about titling this piece Wheatness, but I felt nobody will really get it). I am the model for that.
Canon 5D mark II and a Canon 17-40mm with B+W 110 ND filter.

The mixture of sharpness at some spots and the blur make the pic so unrealistic. Just great.

i don't know .... but this picture makes me scared
the atmosphere is tense
this point of view ...is like a
lion hiding...getting ready to pounce on it's prey
scary but amazing ^^

The fade effect one the wheat makes it look even better.

I actually love the fact that the hands are blurry, cause it adds to the movement of the piece, that there is life not just in the wheat but in the witness as well! I think that too much 'clarity' in a piece can make it look too stiff or fake sometimes. Great shot!

I love the idea and thought behind it
Haha I love the thought of you standing there for 30seconds doing absolutely nothing but holding your arms out, I think it's funny and awesome and cool.

didn't your hands grow sore for 30 seconds of raising it like that?

No, 30 seconds isn't that much. 30 minutes would be harder

30 secs is such a great length of time, if you have the exposure control to execute it. You have done this perfectly, and captured moving wind, which is a great feat.
You should be very proud (which I'm sure you are)

great work on the slow shutter. the blur from the wheats works out with your position in the frame. love the colours and the softness of the whole photo as well.

I love the way that everything seems to focus on you in that picture. Did you have to change the original picture in any way to make it like that, or was that just how it turned out with the original? Not that it matters, I'm just curious.
