Description EDIT: UPDATED WITH CHANGES - Head rounded off, feet larger and better shaped!

My final entry to the 3D Character group contest to create an Iphone character from a current gen character. I chose to recreate Kratos from God of War

Took me the best part of 2 days to make him, 1459 triangles, 512x512 difuse only texture sheet.

From my last upload i've changed:
Made the face more angry looking (rawr!)

Reshaped the neck a little and moved it forward so it didn't lean back so much.

Made the legs longer to match the original concept better.

Added various tweaks to the texture and colours

Rigged and posed him

Rendered from toolbag

Really nicely done !! this is a great entry and congratulations for finishing your model !!

The texture work is great and the lighting in the top image really showcases your work well !

The only thing i can spot is the top of the feet seem a little flat, like you should raise the end where they meet the leg to be slightly higher then the toes ! but thats it hehe

Changed the feet and head now, updated image going to do an action pose image too at some stage

Yea, i too noticed that (each time i take a hard look at the model i spot something, or somebody else does )
Also the flat of the head is pointed right now, i've got some polys spare so i'm going to round it off. I will fix the feet too and update the pic

Yep, it may seem alot but its nessessary to get good shading on the character, seeming as im not using any spec or normal maps. If i used only 4 sides, even 5 sides, it would cause shadowing and shading errors when the model is lit. If it were just a flat shaded render for the final shot, i could have kept it at 4 or 5 sides

well i think you made the perfect decision and i see you used 12 on the torso, i asked you cause i'm interested in making a similar mesh for a realistic templar knight.
