FWIW some additional controls would be nice, such as:
- choosing the sort of pairing (MxM, MxF, FxF)
- a slightly slower cycle (seems like you can consistently miss some ponies)
- a randomize button that cycles both automatically to a new choice.
As you say, more choices would be better. It's definitely very heavy on mares at the moment. Some extra things for them to say might be good too. Not sure how the generator works, but it would be interesting if it selected reason why each was interested in the other (looks, skills, personality) and that dictated what statement was picked.
Very odd that you can ship ponies with themselves. A blank OC that's a semi-random palette swap would be a humorous alternative to that.

Those are definitely good ideas.
- I can think of a way to impliment pairing types, but I need to add more male characters first.
- A note on the cycle speed - when there's more ponies, those consistent misses will sort themselves out. I've had a slightly slower cycle on the pony comic generator and it kept turning up about 3 of the same panels, even though there were 30 flashing by. Worked that way for both me and my friends, who tested it. It must mean that people tend to click at very similar intervals. That wouldn't be a problem with a very slow cycle, but that takes the randomity out of the generator.
- No idea how to make a randomize button in Action Script 2.0
The stat system would be interesting indeed, but it isn't doable unless I collab with a programmer.
The way the generator works is stupidly simple at the moment. It's literally two sets of pictures flashing with a stop and go function.
