A spontaneous cake done as a surprise for a birthday person. First time I did a complete fondant cake at one day. It was exhausting and the flowers didn't had much time to dry and stay in shape (the edges aren't that nice either). But the surprise was a success, which is all that counts. The partner was even more excited and called me as soon as he saw the cake, to tell me how awesome he finds the cake
Under the fondant there is a chocolate cake with mascarpone filling.

When I started it looked pretty boring with most flowers having the same color/shape. So I kept adding more until it looked good
