Description
Following friend's advice I've decided to make my own covers for all HP books. Each of them will feature one of my favourite (or significant) characters. Here's the art for the "Deathly Hollows".

I like the soft colors. Also, I think the way you drew him against a simple background really makes him stand out!

Great work!
I like the soft painting style.
(Even though I'm STRICTLY a Richard Harris Dumbledore fan!)

thank you again )
Speaking of Harris.. to my mind, his Dumbledore was the best for any Dumbledore except the one from the last book. His eyes was far too kind for this cruel puppet master, as we see DD in the end.

I read the article ) I mean, I can't believe she was serious ) Maybe writing so many books about Harry inflicted too much damage to her psychics? )

Thanks, it's really interesting and curious )
Damn. I'm still shocked of what she said and I can't calm down. She's an author, isnt she? She's responsible for her book and characters in front of readers. How can she say something like this. Doesn't she realise that children read all this rubbish? We can smile, say she's crazy, try to forget, to laugh and not pay attention... but children!!!! First of all, it's a f*cking tale for children, not for slashers etc, has she forgotten?
I'm so angry!

Ginnie, actually she has said it is not a book for children. Many many times.... so I think she has made that clear.
Now about Dumbledore being gay... well, it shocked me because I don`t see him as a gay person. Just elegant, mature... I don`t have anything againt gay people. I just don`t see him gay... maybe Michael Gamboan.... but I think she is just trying to get attention. It doesn`t have anything to do with the books. I mean Grindenwald... he was cuteness. ... we know... and he killed Arianna... but come on!! I agree with you... she is just insaine!!! I do love her books, but I am hoping with all my heart she won`t say Snape was impotent or gay too!!

Yes, she said the books are not for children, but she KNOWS children read it, watch movies, love Harry, Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore as well. C'mon! she cannot deny it. And the question about Aberforth and goats was asked by a child!!
The point is not whether DD is gay or not, the point is there are things that should never be revealed. Yes, we know (we can guess) lots of characters had sex (they had children - it's obvious), but there's no necessity to go into details which poses the Weasleys preferred in bed or how many lovers Narcissa had or how perverse Ron and Hermione were. An author should not say such things. NEVER.
If I want such details and such scenes, I'll buy a special book )
I was very much displeased with her after her on-line chats etc, where it was clear, she was inventing useless answers in five seconds, but what she said today was the last drop... and a cup of my tolerance run over.
I'm really sorry, but it is how I feel at the moment.

Actually I was so mad when she did say that Snape deserved what he got, that it was fun having revenge on her quemistry teacher !!! I was like WFT!!! I can undestand you totally, it is not necessary for her to say such stupid answers... and children are innocent... they have no idea about what is a gay or not... I think I feel the same way... Ever since DH came out, she has been so mean, specially to us, Snape fans.... too mean I would say

Yes, I have constant impression, that she has no respect for us (HP fans), and for her own book as well. Sad...

Maybe, I do consider such a possibility, but the normal way would be to refuse to answer. She can say smth like "everything you need is in the book" and that's all, but with such answers she encourages next stupid questions for which she will give stupid answers over and over again.
Sure, being a celebrity is not an easy job and one has to think what he's saying, but it is how it works.

Maybe she does want to be asked this kind of questions, who knows, maybe she wanted to have fun or joke, she is a joker you know... whatever, don`t take it too hard... I don`t mind Dumbledore being anything. He was always respectfull, elegant and maquiavelic I will mind anything she says about Snape!

More obvious, she wants publicity - it is not bad itself, but her means are more than doubtful from my point of view.
Maybe I'm mistaken and I think of her worse, than she deserves, who knows, I'd be only glad, if she proved my judgment wrong by her future behaviour. Let's see.
Anyway, her books aren't getting worse because of her recent revelations - they belong now to everyone and we are as much entitled to believe, what we want, as she does ))

Yes I think so too. Publicity.. but WHY!??? Isn`t she already famous????? Or maybe like a friend told me she just read some good Albus/Gelert Fanfic and she said "yeah that is cool" and she wants it as her own idea...
I undestand you .... it`s quite dissapointing.
And I just hope she does clear out why she is doing this... oh well... I think she was in love with Nettleship, her quemistry teacher and she angry at him... and well, the rest is history! I just hope in her mind Albus didn`t ask too much of Severus Snape

*giggling*
You know, when I translated the seventh book and approached the conversation between Snape and Dumbledore, where Sev accused him of placing more trust with Harry than with him, there were SUCH phrasings, which gave me a lot of headache - I was desperately trying to make their dialog less gay, cause it actually sounded so ) And now, I'm thinking of it and ask myself, whether I really should try to conceal it... I don't know. We had numerous jokes on this account, but none could ever imagine these jokes had a grain of truth in them.. It's terrible and unnatural.
I am not against homosexuality as it is, but in this situation it's totally wrong (
Obviously, Rowling had hard times at school and still cannot forgive her teachers. Though she created wonderful characters - kind, compassionate, clever, noble, devoted - she cannot admit even before herself, that she thinks them so good and says whatever crosses her mind to cast a shadow on them.
Speaking of publicity - people get used to fame very soon and then they're afraid to lose it. Now, perhaps, she feels, that her books are over and there are no future plans, which always were a food for her interviews. As she has nothing interesting to say about the future, she tries to take as much as possible from the past. Had she told that there would be no comments anymore, people would lose their interest, but as long as she gives us (and, moreover, the medias) different sensations, especially, concerning such popular and scandalous topics as sex - she will be on top, no doubt. Public eats it.

Lol... I know... anything, always.. mmmm omg I can`t believe it. People are actually joking about it already!!! Poor Severus!!! lol I am sure you had a hard time!! and yes I don`t see why Dumbledore`s love life should be important to us. I don`t think it`s important to the whole books. and if JKR wanted him to be gay, she should have written about it in the books... now we will wonder, wtf about "anything" !!! Oh me... lol, it`s sort of hilarious and wrong... but I`ve never been a big fan of Dumbledore (althought I love the paintings and art made around him). He was really maquiavelic and used Severus, which is totally wrong... he never said anything to Harry and well, public need publicity!!
Oh she did say she might write a book about Dumbledore ... lol
SHe doesn`t need this kind of publicity .... oh well, being famous must be a hard job too... but she is ruining this with this comments
