This is a Premium Commission for my bestie,
This is a commission, please no crits unless you are the commission~!So, Sessko said she wanted a warm on cool composition, so I thought a sunrise over snow would allow me to play with the colors the most!
I enjoyed painting this one, it was very peaceful and quiet, just like it is in the very early hours of the morning, when you're all alone and still fast asleep...

Yeah, I wanted to find a way to make a snowy scene in the middle of winter somehow bright and vivid and full of life.
SO I MADE BLUE AND PINK SNOW YAY.
I always feel sleepy when I look at this one, it's got that early morning, right before dawn feeling.

And lets not forget lil Sessko! she's so cute all snuggley! All cuddled up on her foot and her tail<3 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!! Look at her being all foof ball-like behind a log of joy... where a secret creeper weedle dwelled xD! lolsilly weedle!!!!

I tried, and actually succeeded (for once) at getting that sort of magical, sleepy, early morning atmosphere. When you wake up, and everyone else is still asleep, and you look outside and everything is so quiet and undisturbed; like the world is your secret, and no one else is enjoying it but you.
(EVEN THOUGH THERE'S LIKE PEOPLE IN JAPAN WIDE AWAKE AND STUFF BUT SHH YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO THINK ABOUT THAT.)
Yeah, I HAD to have Sessko lean against her foot, it's just too darn cute to resist!
I wanna go over there and like, squeeze her little foot until she wakes up and lunges at my face.

That would be the most beautiful children's book ever! Do you plan on writing it as well? If so, what ideas do you have?

Aw man stop flattering me!
I have a kind of quirky, childish writing style, almost poetic (like, when I'm writing creatively, not just ya know typing replies and stuff); it's something that would be recognizable, so I'd attempt narrarating it, yeah!
I'd love doing Little Red Riding Hood, but revamp the class fable to shine a more positve light on the beast. I'd like doing it modern day. Hard to explain;
like, take the classic tale of the little girl wandering into the wood and happening across the wolf on her way to grandma's house. It would be cool to take a modern, more eco-conscious approach to that, have the wolf explain his hatred of humans, how their destroying his habitat and all that. Instead of just having him just mindlessly eat granmda and terrorize the little girl.

That's a beautiful idea! I modern, eco-conscious twist on a classic.
I like the idea of the wolf opening up to the girl and talking about his hatred towards human. A bit like a mature children's story. I would buy that book!
Since I adopted my cousin's dog I thought about writing a children's book about her, but I haven't got a solid idea to write about. She's such a character! But I can't decide on an artistic approach either. Cartoony or more realistic? The only thing I'm certain of is that I'm going to make her able to fly by wagging her tail. When she wags her tail it spins in a propeller motion, like a helicopter or boat propeller.

Also I think the picture is very nice balanced,
with your awesome backgrounds you sometimes get lost of the character because the bg's are so overwhelming in a good way 
But here your eye goes right from the pretty colors poof to the quiet place where the character is sleeping peacefully very, very nice
