This is a Premium Commission painted just for~The day is past and the toilers cease;
The land grows dim 'mid the shadows grey,
And hearts are glad, for the dark brings peace
At the close of day.
Each weary toiler, with lingering pace,
As he homeward turns, with the long day done,
Looks out to the west, with the light on his face

Wow! There are so many aspects of this picture that make it beautiful-- especially the colors of the sky! I also love the trees, the rocks and the way they jut out of the water, the wolf, and that adorable little crab. Wonderful work, once again! ♥ You never cease to amaze me with your artwork!

I think this is the first time I've placed a commission character in a position where his face isn't visible; but the pose seemed to match the whole scene so well, so I think it was a great choice~!

The colors of the sunset are beautiful and I love the detail in the rock and scenery. Gorgeous! The water looks really good in the way it covers the rocks, it also adds a really nice contrast to the red in the sky.

No way, I usually prefer doing whatever I want with the BG, but having to create the image you envisioned was a GOOD thing for me! I think I grew a little just through this piece alone;for one, I rarely do water or mountains, so it gave me the chance to familiarize myself with those types of elements!
