Description
Done with my sweet hands and colored with paintshop 9....
She flies all over the universe, and every day she gets to a new planet she gives light to the dawn. Her wings get bigger and brighter so she can enlight the dawn of a new day... It seems Chanel slogan... 
It took me some hours to do it, so please have a full view to give me advices ok? To you all

i just have one question.. do you use the airbrush toll to colour pictures?... if you do... try using the actual brush... so you can give a bit of depth into the picture... i hope you know what i mean... but no ofence... the picture is wonderful!

to tell the truth, this was one of my very first attempt in using photoshop, so I don't remember the tools I used XD
Now I use a soft brush, without full opacity, and... well it takes so much time this way =___=

hehe.. well it does take quite a lot of time to colour a pic on the computer but it's also fun!
oh.. and another tip.. try aplying the base colors with full opacity and then the shadows with less... i think it'll go faster XD

yes, it's my actual way to colour! Heheh! This one, Crimson dawn, took me soooooo long that most of the time I said "who makes me do this????" but at the end I was happy with the result!

-The background clashs with the picture (of the girl) because of the style.

Okay, but remember this is my opinon...
The background is more of a realistic style, and/or more detailed. And your picture fits into animation. My (stress' on my) veiw of animation is less realistic and so on. I say that because with animation you can do just about anything with it and it look "right".
So what I'm trying to say is that the background is more realistic/detailed than your picture.

Mmmh.... maybe you're right... But not in all animations bacgrounds (and expecially space views) are realistic. I chose this way because it helped me to give the idea. Initially I had another idea: I wanted her in front of the stormy sea: she had to be the wife of a sailor waiting for him... but... err... the sea didn't come out well!

Oh wow! This is amazing, you have amazing coloring skills, thats for sure. I like the colors you chose for this picture, they may be the cool colors (like Blues and purples) But the way you use them gives the picture a warm feel to it. I especially love her pose, very fluid with her dress, The little wings are a wonderful touch, nothing too big and over powering. I love this picture, Instant Fave! :+Favlove:
