Yep, that's about how long it took. If it seems too much, you can always give it a try.

Gorgeous tones and flowing forms. The composition is well constructed.

Nice work, Giorgio. I love your patient swirls. I appreciate the glowing gradient added in PS, but I wonder if it is even necessary. I wouldn't mind seeing the unedited ink on paper version before I determine that.
Composition is strong, lines are energetic, everything leads towards (or radiates from) the "hole". It is soothing and invigorating at the same time.

Yeah, I wanted to draw something detailed and different, but I actually got impatient, and fell back to my usual forms. I'd like to escape out of the usual forms and achieve the same effect visually. I think the secret is in making up abstract similar-looking building blocks that are composed together in an appropriate way. Drawing dynamic current lines, is like drawing the skeletons of compositions. It would be nice to figure out some meat. This my deepest concern right now about my work. Maybe I'll do better on my upcoming painting.
I like the glowing look, because I wanted to make it look something like this with the ink, but I think I'm out of practice or something, because I didn't manage to handle the ink pressure so well, to have softer/harder lines. I used to do much better. I need to practice. I might upload the actual one soon, others might be interested too.

How in the world do you manage to produce pieces like this so quickly?!

Thanx! It just seems quick because I haven't been submitting lately, and now all of a sudden: 3 works.
But to be honest, I do work quickly, when I do. Each picture was about a day (10-15 hrs) in total.
