The cup is a funky right-handed tea-cup from Starbucks, and of course, a sonic screwdriver to complete the picture.
This is one of the first photos I took with my new 50mm lens.

Aaaaw. That's so cute. Not familiar with the line, having only seen five episodes of the Doctor, but it's still cute. I like how the bubble's in focus.

Well, the sonic screwdriver is just an accessory. The focus was on the bubble because as any fan of the Doctor will tell you, the smallest most inconspicuous things can make the biggest difference.
There's an episode where Rose goes back in time with the Doctor, and she rescues her dad from being killed in a hit and run accident (Called "Father's Day"). All hell starts breaking loose and she says something along the lines of, "I don't understand, he's just my dad. He's this ordinary guy, he's never done anything important." And the Doctor helps her learn that ordinary people can be the most wonderful people in the world, and have as much importance in time as anyone.
