Description Captured in Hurricane, WV.
This engine is a RDSLUG, commonly called a "Roadslug."
Hooked up behind it is #6414, which is a GP40-2.

Wow, that is an amazingly rare locomotive you caught. CSX only rosters about nine or ten of those old EMD GP30's; they've been converted to slugs.

The lead locomotive is an EMD GP30. It is very well known for it's unique body design. The GP30 is the only locomotive that looks....the way it does.
