Description
Paint/Photo: MyselfModel: Billie the Hunter by Hasslefree Miniatures
I used as standard 25mm slotted base. I would have liked to have done something more with the base but that's pretty much what LV-426 looks like. I also totally nailed her overalls but dirtied them up anyway for accuracy sake.

I have a couple of very old box sets from the 90's. 2 boxes including the marines plus Burke,Ripley,Newt, and Bishop, 1 set of Alien warriors and one box for the Queen. I painted them ages ago in the 90's back before i discovered acrylic so they need stripping and redoing. Thankfully they're metal so won't be a problem stripping them

I've been doing some googling. I can't justify selling mine but I can tell you they were made by "Leading Edge"Β here's a link to ebay for the whole RPG. This set included only cardboard players i guess the metal one's were an add on. I reckon you should set up an ebay alert for "Leading Edge"
I notice they also did a Terminator 2 set of figures

I only looked on ebay UK. There's a lot on worldwide search and they are extortionate!!!! $99 per box from Spain. Unbelievable

They're pretty cool. More like scale models rather than caricatures, There was a company that did all the characters in 1/35 scale resin at Β£11 a piece!Β I had one Alien Warrior, Apone, and Vasquez that was back in 1990.
I gave away my 1/72 dropship and 1/35 APC (kicking myself now) I Still have the Halcyon Narcissus shuttle, power loader, alien and egg in 1/8, alien warrior in 1/5, face hugger in life size, dog burster life size, chest burster life size ( my mrs is after that one) Oh and the extremely rare Nostromo all by Halcyon

My nostromo needs a repaint and i have to scrap build a bit around one engine. I've owned it since 1991 and its been through a few house moves. So really one missing part isn't that bad. The kit even came with spare aerials and landing gear!

LOL. Β I love how Kev White does variations of his characters. Β Mostly I bought this for fun but when I started working on my 'bug hunt' board game Newt was one of the first "Survivor" characters that could be recruited for combat. Β Not much health, but she's damn fast.

Nice. Are you going to do any of the other cast?
π: 0 β©: 1
Girot In reply to crisandm [2013-10-10 14:53:47 +0000 UTC]
I have a Not-Ripley (aka Signee ) and a whole bunch of other not-marines. Signee is the only really identifable 'cast member' based on the sculpt but I think I can work out most of the marines if I paint them right. Β The each have unique armor decore, which helps a lot. Β I'll have to add Apone's cigar to one of the male troopers.
