This happens when I'm sick. Let me explain.

Last Saturday and Sunday were two horrible days for me since I felt so bad because of a strong flu I had. My head was hurting and spinning, my nose running, I had a sore throat and if you think that is enough... I had pulled my neck muscles too!
I mean I was feeling miserable and since I couldn't lay down with my stuffed nose and since I wasn't feeling sleepy at all, I decided to start sketching something, for fun and without any purpose.

I started drawing the snake and then I painted its shapes in b&w... well in a nutshell that's what I've come up with in the end.

For those who want to know my workflow:
Everything was done with a normal hard edged round brush. I sketched the main lines, then I gave the volumes in black & white - some textures and vegetation brushes were added and used to make it more photo-realistic - I colored the painting and then I painted the highlights and reflections.
