Description
Bumblebee sure has a popular chassis!Looking at reference material, I realized that Bumblebee didn't get his signature asymmetrical black stripe until he got his Earth-mode. Since I was stuck doing Earth-mode versions of these guys anyway, I decided to take some liberties with their paint jobs to spice them up.
Cliffjumper is painted to match my family's Mini Cooper S. Glyph's stripe is a popular design, seen on cars like the one driven by Starsky and Hutch. Tap-Out's white stripe is a nod to the titular vehicle in the Clint Eastwood film 'Gran Torino'.

Paint jobs look nice and smooth. Ah, if they gave us a Cybertronian mode Megatron and Ratchet, why can't they do the same for Bumblebee? I'd love to see a show-accurate Glyph!

To be fair, on the show, all we see is Glyph's back for about half a second. My theory is that, after the main cast returned to Cybertron victorious, alt-modes based on Earth vehicles with customized stripe patterns became all the rage, as pioneered by fashion icons like Jazz and Bumblebee. It's like when everybody wanted the same haircut as the Beatles!

True, but is there enough demand for her? Is demand waning overall and am I one of the lone crazies out there that still wants more toys for this line? Hasbro cares more about that than for how many seconds we see her on screen. I like that idea about the paint jobs.
