One would hope that a more majestic bird would be able to claim the highest perch in the land, but oftentimes it's the scavengers to occupy the highest branches.Caught a pic of a vulture on the highest branch of a dead tree

It is a magnificent animal, A large group of them have roosted in the local area so more pics like this one may come soon.
