Thrown into the mines outside of Canterlot on the eve of her wedding, Princess Cadence frantically runs through the caverns, desperately searching for a way out. Her search is silent at first, with only the sound of her shoes clacking against the rock for company. As time wears on, her mind begins to grow increasingly panicked, causing her to speak out loud to Shining Armor, Celestia, and Luna, as a means of gaining some small amount of comfort.

Finally, she collapses, deep inside the mines. The day of the wedding has arrived, and no rescue is in sight. She's almost completely given up hope that she'd ever make it out of there in time, and has resigned herself to a cruel fate.

Until a lavender-coated unicorn makes an appearance in the caves.

The story above was what I ended up imagining, thanks to the song, and I couldn't ignore the urge to draw something about it the more I listened to it. This picture is the end result of that urge.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. The perspective is slightly off, and there are a couple of really minor shading errors, but I think it came out fairly well. What do you folks think?
