Species Special Abilities:
Dhaveri are able to cancel out commands placed on them from Influence, the Archael species ability. They are descendants of Archaels (seceded from Avallon closely following the decision to conquer other alien races to make them their harvesters) that have evolved much over time after being out in the verse for so long. As Archaels are known as "angels", Dhaveri are known as "demons", or "fallen". They are no longer anima dependent and the lack of a need for anima has evolved their sigil color to black, changed their eyes, and gave them tails. Even though Archaels are able to control other Archaels, Dhaveri have conditioned their anima and themselves over time to resist it. Their eyes will momentarily dilate, instead of being slits, if Influence is attempted on them.
Instead of a healing ability, they've weaponized the normal tendrils for combat and made them faster. They can become needle thin or can be used as another appendage, picking up items far away or attacking and impaling from a distance. It does use up quite a bit of anima fairly quickly, just like Archael healing would.
Trivia:
- Hides his wings, tail, eyes, anything to do with his species, staying as secretive as possible.
- Was one of the original founders of VESHA along with Nelson, 4 years before story events.
- Not always present with the crew to join expeditions. Has his own personal, small transport ship that he uses to go back and forth from Division headquarters and his crew's ship.
- Despite not being Auric, he is able to strategically best Julien in combat. ...This is mostly because he gets him riled up, and Julien is not a levelheaded fighter when he gets angry, making him easy to overcome.
- Fluent in two languages, Terran and Maezzal. Absolutely enamored with El'lybic, could listen to Eden speak his native language for hours.
- Captain of his ship, The Acium
- Was an orphan living on the streets of his home planet when Bastion, the current Paragon of Division (47 years old), who was Commander at the time (at 30 years old), adopted him after seeing his potential when Micah was 10.
- Bastion insists he calls him nothing but his name, or "sir", despite the adoption. Their relationship is incredibly rocky and complicated.
- Tries to push Nelson harder than the others, as he wants him to succeed under his wing just as much as Bastion did for him.
- Considers Azipha akin to a sister, considers Julien an absolute nuisance.
