Tools Used:Photoshop CS 4 (nebula, planets, rings)
Apophysis (stars)
Nebula was created with a combination of mud textures with some layer duplication, varying blending modes and heavy use of the smudge tool.

I can't even begin to describe how absoleutely amazing I think this is, the color usage is gorgeous, and I almost can't beleive you can make these image with the same photoshop tools I use XD
It's looks like it could be photo-realistic, or 3d generated.
