Description
This was the drawing I was originally going to submit for #MattxMello-Fanclub 's music contest. However, I wasn't able to figure out how to draw the poses in time. Last night I tried it again, and I quickly coloured it in today. I wanted it to look more like a watercolour painting, but failed there. :\ This was just supposed to be a quick sketch really...so proportions are off and it doesn't look all that great, but oh well.(Matt looks adorable with wet hair XD He's like a wet puppy.)

I think the muted colors add a lot to the entire tone of the drawing.

AHHH! This is sooo amazing. It conjures emotion at first glance, and that's why it's really powerful to me. I like how you took meaningless lyrics from a POP song and made them actually have a true fufillment.

Well, the version I used as an inspiration wasn't at all like the horrid original. The singer I was listening to actually put some emotion and meaning being the words as he sang. ^^

I really like the conept, but the execution could use work, especially the bottom picture. I agree with ~dwn-wt-vwlz that this would be really good in a music video, like a the really good cosplay ones on youtube.

ffffffff If I had a cosplay partner who would actually cosplay with me and someone who knows ANYTHING about recording proper videos, I would totally make the video. >_<

It's really more Matt than Mello. It looks like some of his body is out of proportion, like his shoulders and calves seem to small. Also, I think his stomach looks a little too...bulky? Yeah, that's a good word for it. I think maybe you should try curving his chest inward slightly to give him a smaller look. Or, if you were trying to make it so his clothes were just hanging off of him, then maybe you should add some longer folds to make it seem like that. Something about his face bothers me a little. Maybe the bridge of his nose is too long.
Keep in mind these are just suggestions. I've just always thought of Matt being more lanky than what he looks here, so maybe I'm acting biased (is that the right word? 
Have you seen the videos by spaceflikkan ? You should if you haven't, they're really impressive. One of my personal favorites, Victims of Love, is like a REALLY GOOD fanfiction. I'd love to make one myself out of the video.

This was just a quick sketch, really. (I forgot to add that in the artist comment here. *facepalm* This fact has been amended.) I barely even really tried to make their bodies right. I certainly didn't put much effort into Matt's shirt judging by his off-angle stripes. >XD (Speaking of stripes, I forgot the ones on his jeans...oops.) His nose bridge is, indeed, a bit too long, that's an issue I've been trying to work out from how I used to draw. :\
Actually, if he were standing, Matt would be considerably lanky. He's too thin, long, and has no definition to any muscular structure whatsoever. |D Proper human anatomy? Pft! Who needs that?! XD
