[STH #181-184] - Seeking the means to defeat Eggman, Knuckles accepted Finitevus' help to imbue himself with the Master Emerald's power and transform into Enerjak. He transported the surviving echidnas to Albion, but never revealed his identity to them. However, Finitevus had placed a hex on the Emerald to corrupt Knuckles, which only Locke's sacrifice could break.

Looks like Knuckles needs to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Credit here goes to Richforce for reminding me that Lara-Le is unaware of Locke's death. I didn't even think about that while writing this, so I had to amend the script to account for it. This is exactly why I need reader feedback to help me tweak the story, and I thank everyone for helping me refine Sonic Retold.

Now who do you guess is speaking off-panel at the end....?
