And finally, here is the 'fan mail' page for Sonic Retold #3. Instead of doing a F.A.Q. like the previous issue , I decided to include select comments from this issue as a facsimile of Archie's Sonic-Grams. Once again, many thanks to all who have left feedback while reading this comic and the support you've shown. It really helps keep my motivation up and ensures this comic will last for a long time. Stay tuned for Sonic Retold #4!
And yes, that is Big smothering Antoine at the bottom. Sort of a running gag we had on stream....

I have to admit, this is one of, if not the best sonic fan comics I've read. The only others that come close are Archie Sonic Online, A Sly Encounter, and Sonic Legacy. You and your incredible team keep up the fantastic work!!

Mina's impression of your sketch is that Big was trying to be helpful by giving Antoine another pillow. He just had bad aim. I'm not about to correct her and her sweet innocence. She likes the idea of being an official artist, though.

So we don’t see Mecha Sally’s thoughts nor does she speak. I understand that, but maybe it’d be more emotional if she resorts to cruel words, causing Sonic to get more desperate. It might also be effective if at least one of Sonic’s other friends were Roboticized. But they’re just ideas.
I also agree that it was the right thing showing how Sally’s family are affected; no doubt Max regrets how he treated his daughter in the past.
And again, please don’t show Eggman in the tub again!

I think we already saw some examples of Mecha Sally's verbal insults in Archie Sonic. Personally, I wasn't too fond of the result, since I find her silent subservience to Eggman more visceral. Besides, Sonic is getting desperate enough in her absence with those recurring nightmares he's having.

We had a talk on stream about Froggy's role in the comic and how he fits in Big's backstory. I think it was suggested that Froggy is Big's reincarnated son after he was killed in an Eggman attack.
