Commission for of his character Dr. Shango performing a diabolical experiment in his lab where he siphons the power of the Sol Emeralds out of Blaze and the Chaos Emeralds out of Shadow, Silver, Sonic and Super Tails. Now that's what I call shock therapy.
Painting this was excruciating. I kept messing up the colours and layout, and at one point I even forgot to include Silver, which you can see in the playback below. Still, I want to thank TRIPLE84E for being extraordinarily patient while I struggled to complete this. I hope he finds the result worth the wait.

Big is pretty much immovable, all Big has to do to roll on him as long as Shango does not bite or scratch with his venomous claws and teeth

Nope, also his metal arms and bones are laced with unbreakable metal called Chromezoid-Adamantium. Adding the nanotech in his muscle tissue quadruple his strength. But even he has weaknesses, mainly magnetic powers and abilities, and even though he is strong, but not fast in combat

I don't think he's stronger than Knuckles and Kunckles is probably the 4th strongest Mobian. Still very fascinating!

The look on Shadow's face is almost as disturbing as Blaze's. Him showing such anguish is particularly harsh.

Uh... I'm confused. I do mean Shadow. Of all the expressions I've ever seen him been given, this one conveys pain that I've never quite seen in this way before. Unless it's my word choice, maybe anguish is something more accurate for Silver.

I donβt use OpenCanvas (might be fun) so I wanted to ask, why do you color the elements in a simple color like pink or green as you go? Does it have something to do with the color effects and shading or is it more for keeping track of layers?

I get asked this a lot. Whenever you see me paint with pink or lime, it's done on a separate layer. It's better to use a high contrast colour because it makes it easier to see where to paint to the edges. Once the base colour is in place, I can lock layer transparency and change it to any colour I want for shading.

No problemo. I wrote an extensive tutorial for my webcomic that covers my technique, including colouring. More advanced techniques used here involve applying a gradient map for a yellow tint, which I talk about in my cover tutorial . If you watch the video playback , you can see the background change from greyscale to yellow-blue at 1:32. That's the gradient map filter.

Dang man. How are you not working on the official comics? Looks ways better than what we got now. Not just talking the art but the expressions too. The heroes look in agony (somebody send Knuckles to save them btw) and it *feels* painful to look at. Well done, sir.
