Description
Commission for of his character Dr. Shango performing a diabolical experiment in his lab where he siphons the power of the Sol Emeralds out of Blaze and the Chaos Emeralds out of Shadow, Silver, Sonic and Super Tails. Now that's what I call shock therapy.
Painting this was excruciating. I kept messing up the colours and layout, and at one point I even forgot to include Silver, which you can see in the playback below. Still, I want to thank TRIPLE84E for being extraordinarily patient while I struggled to complete this. I hope he finds the result worth the wait.

Technically, but in that case, there was Dark Gaia Energy involved as well. The Chaos Energy was sucked out of Sonic and the Dark Gaia Energy took its place.
One of the downsides to the protagonist being able to absorb ANYTHING, good or bad...

I can see that happening in a sonic arch. Any character with a Unique transformation/transformations Like Sonic, Silver, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, and Blaze (and if you wanna really go in deep Nicole due to her overclocked form, and Cosmo (if she was alive)) are all caught and are getting their powers drained For those with more transformations (sonic), are younger, or deeply attuned to chaos/sol energy are going to feel the most pain.Β
I love how expressive you are with the characters, it feels so real looking at this, like I'm actually reading an issue of the comic. THough I have a feeling Dr. Shango may start to regret his choice; you know what they say, too much power is too hard to control, even with technology or whatever. Yet he still goes through with it, ignoring the pain he's inflicting on the princess and boys, to the point where they're most likely practically dying.
Sorry about the long rant, this is just a good pic. I still hope Sonic and co will be okay.

I had a similar concept for one of my AUs...
I love how even though he's in pain and suffering as well, Silver's still more concerned about Blaze.
