That must be one of the most kickass Lego vehicles I've ever seen.

I'm curious, though, does the wheel move in and out like in the films?

I don't remember, it's been around for over a year now and I didn't have a stopwatch handy when I built it... but it didn't happen all in one day.

There's something very familiar about all this...

sorry. It's my Favourite Back to the Future quote and I couldn't resist!

Fantastic Work!
It's funny how everyone likes the BTTF 2 version of the DeLorien...
I liked it in BTTF 3 because it was pushed by a train...

Sorry, between BTTF, Lego and Trains I'm having major flashbacks to grade three! And loving every moment of it!

Completely Awesome!!!

that's pretty pimp, man. as much as I love the A-Team this is better.

not as good as the ginormous ATAT walker I found on the interets, though.

Yeah, well...
there are plenty of ginormous ATATs around the internets- and someday I'll have my very own.

I know I've commented before on this about how you should reverse engineer it and create some instructions, but I just realized it would be pretty awesome if the wheels actually retracted back and forth between the flight and driving modes! (I'm not suggesting you figure out how to do that, more just asking if you agree that it'd be cool. )

This is awesomly awesome. Did you make a grid for this one too or did you just free-sculpt it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

gloriouskyle In reply to fox718 [2005-11-28 20:00:55 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure a grid could apply well for something like this, so it basically came from scratch. I had lots of refrences handy, and plenty of experience with Legos to know what I wantend!
