Since I did so little on-site work while I was actually in the country, I pulled this together in a couple sessions back home so I would have something to show when the class met again. When everyone else was settled down with some watercolors or pencil sketches, I was usually exploring on my own, burning through film.It's only 6"x8" and I may continue to work on it, I really didn't put much time into it. hehe that's pretty cool. I like how you didn't keep exactly to the reference. The colors all have a lot more livley ness in them then in the painting. I wish I could offer painting critique but alas, i suck at painting.

Well I think it looks great for such a quick piece. I'm thinkin maybe darken the shadows (in between rocks and such) suh'more..? Donno if you'll still work on this so whatever. I still think it looks awesome. Nice to see something besides LEGO and cartoons from you!

Oh I'm totally versatile, it's just that playing with toys and watching cartoons comes so naturally...
Anyway, it's haning on my wall now- but I still don't think it's finished. I bought 2 more canvases the same size that I want work on first, so I can hone my skills incase I screw it up.
