Description Had a chance to talk with the folks from Shout! Factory this weekend at Botcon, who encouraged me to put this up.

This is part the art I did for the packaging of the upcoming Autobot Matrix of Leadership DVD set collecting the three American series' of the G1 Transformers cartoon.

The packaging features a clever gimmick wherein the box illustrated with the matrix housing slides apart and reveals the inside crystal, where the DVDs are stored.

So someone somewhere might just end up becoming Prime when they watch these things....

My I ask where you got the referance? I noticed from a quick look at a screen cap it seems to be very accurate.

Also I want that set of DVDs. Get a non-error ridden version of S.O.S. Dinobots.

It was a number of references. I was shown a 3D render that I've seen at other places around the web, then I drew it over from scratch and as I worked on it I made a lot of reference from stills from the animated movie. I also referenced the sculpture/bust of it that's out there.
