Description All right sorry for the spam but I have 6 pictures to post!!! Stay tuned for the rest! I have things to get off my chest so I don't rant on every submission!

I was surprised when my husband came into the office and set a box covered with art work on it on the floor beside me.  I knew right away who it was from! My super amazing friend  drew them!!! Oh my glob! Thank you and you're brother for this!

I love this picture  drew of my OC Agar and her OC Asten! All pictures from our conversations together! We will share our collective fan story one day!

Now before I go on I have to say that my initial surprise faded quickly into a Justin's temper!    WHAT IS WRONG WITH POSTAL PEOPLE! Honestly!!!! I was home all day! No one rang the door bell and my dog hears everything but them!!! So why????

Why am I this angry you ask?

IT RAINED!!!!!!!!!!!! The box was soaked, the beautiful art she did on the box, soaked, the letter she wrote inside was soaked, her brother's letter was soaked, the awesome collectors edition magic the gathering card box her brother bought me was soaked and wrinkled, and some how by the blessings of the gods I guess the awesome water color art she did was spared!! It was dampish but not soaked! OH THANK YOU GOD!

Once everything dried I could read the letters and the art all looks all right!    Good thing too or I would have  charged my Justin's enraged hide down to the post office and let them have it Sara Phoenix style!   I WAS HOME! RING THE DOOR BELL! IS IT TO MUCH WORK TO PRESS A BUTTON!!!!!

Anyway! I am so moved you two! Thank you for the awesome gifts! I simply must get something together to send you both!

her brother created Justin based and Agar based card decks all sealed nicely in plastic THANK YOU!!! Or I fear what they would have looked like as well!

Her brother   and his friend are opening a hobby store!  I will be sure to advertise that to the heavens when it's done!

Now to learn how to play magic!

That was so kind of her to send you all of the gifts!
And maybe you will need to get a sign in front of your door saying to ring the doorbell if you have a package! To be honest with you, I don't think it is a standard requirement!
Thank goodness you could get it all dried! >w<

It was!!!

Seriously!!

It should be, I mean should at least be common sense! The thing that kills me is my dog didn't even hear them! He hears everything!

Yes!!!

Oh no, that really sucks! Maybe next time I should just wrap the whole package in tape to give it a plastic coating to protect it from the rain. Figures this would happen, lazy government employees. No wonder USPS is pretty much bankrupt and it only makes more sense considering when Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe says (and I seriously quote this) "...the American citizens aren’t our customers — about 400 junk mailers are our customers." If I could, I would have used UPS but while they deliver packages around here, shipping them is a whole other matter. There is also Fedex but I've had too many incidences with them delivering packages to houses on the next street over instead of mine. I actually have a pet peeve about people not ringing doorbells when they should. I've seen with all sorts of people that many outside the postal service are also too lazy, or shockingly unobservant, too bother with a doorbell. It's really hard to hear someone knocking on a screen door when you have a thick oak door behind it and yet they can't be bothered to press the button right next to the door. I just don't get people sometimes. The doorbell is there for a reason, use it!

I'm glad the cards themselves were okay. They don't take kindly to water, they bend and warp horribly when exposed to too much and become pretty much unplayable. I could possibly send you another box if you like, I got a few more empty ones laying around that I don't need that I could spare. Good too that the rulebook I printed out for youwasn't too badly damaged, you'll definitely need that. It's a complicated game that takes a bit to learn but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. Me and play from time to time. She favors using white decks only while I'm generally more of a blue or blue-white player.  If you like the game, I can also send you a few more cards; I got a good amount of extras in my personal collection that don't have much of a use for.

Lol, I didn't know I was designing a card game. Darn that rain-smudged ink! We are actually thinking of starting up a small hobby store eventually and sell stuff like this and tabletop RPGs. It's ridiculous how much legal paperwork forms there is when it comes to making even the smallest of businesses. And that's not even getting into the money aspect! I got one big story on what brought about where the idea of opening a store which is also related to commercial incompetence (and it's even worse than morons too lazy to ring doorbells!). Though it is funny you should mention card game design, I suppose you were off on one mark only to hit another one behind it. I have dabbled some a few things sorta related to card games but those projects are on the back burner while I deal with script work. One of them is pretty big and may eventually come to fruition but that won't be for a while and certainly not until my script work is complete for at least a chapter or two.

HAHA yes send it in a plastic case lordy! X(  I know that they didn't knock either because my dog is the noise hound! He barks when he hears them walk on the front steps but this person must have must have been light footed too! OH wow that is a terrible untrue thing to say! We still need shipping! I knew some artists that made sculptures that arrive broken...OAK stuff that has no molds made that is painful! I have seen postal people drop the box, not bend over and out down just drop it and leave.  Makes me so scared to ship sculptures that I am planning on.

Yes the cards are perfect! The box is ok the bottom is just all bubbly now! I really wish I lived closer to you guys so we could play, and of course my husband is looking to move to Virginia, that is going further away not closer! X(

OH! My bad! Not sure how I came to that conclusion!
Oh business stuff! Yeah I have no clue! My father had his own business that his father had started many years ago.  I can only imagine! Are you opening an online store? I would be happy to promote that for you! XD

That could be fun!!

Wow, they didn't even bother to knock? The sad thing is, even if you were to complain, nothing would probably be done and no one would probably care. I suppose we should be thankful the box even got there. It could have been worse, the package could have wound up in this postal employee's hands:

www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/…

Depending on where you might move to in Virginia, you might be a wee bit closer but probably not by much.  It would still be quite a long drive either way. It would be awesome to at some point meet up but isn't often we go on road trips and it's usually me who stays behind and takes care of the cats.

Lol, it's alright. I bet your grandfather had a MUCH easier time starting up a business years ago than if he were to do it today. Your father is pretty lucky to have inherited it than have to deal with all the legal stuff of starting it up. Nowadays you can't even open up a lemonade stand without all  the "appropriate" permits (which of course you have to buy!). It only gets worse for anything beyond a lemonade stand. we haven't fully decided just what kind of business model we are going to follow exactly, doing business online would have some real big advantages so it's likely we will go down that route at some point in the future. I don't really know much about website design stuff though. I know a little bit of VERY basic coding across a hodgepodge of coding languages but nowhere near enough to make a website. Even if I did, I don't know anything about hosting it either.

Yup not at al! Yes that is true to.  If anything it will make them angry and make things worse.

OMG!!!!!! After that and what you said, yes we should be glad! I never had a package delivered to the wrong house.

Likely near Richmond.  I would come see you guys often and in a heart beat if I had my own car!!! Can't afford two.

WOW! Yes you are right.

Yes i need to learn web stuff.  Soon as I have the money for a site Ill tell you what I know.  Some sites have nice templates to do most of that for you.

I have to learn how taxes and stuff work for the music im selling and t-shirts and things.  Fun stuff!

If you were going to purchase a car, how much money would you say you'd need to be able to afford it? Cars tend to fairly affordable here compared to up in Pennsylvania, at least according to some of my relatives up there. You can get some good deals here on used cars but of course it is still always best to have someone with some car know-how give it a bit of an inspection first.

I've seen a few legitimate web hosts that offer simple templates but be careful, most "hosts" that I've seen that offer templates aren't hosts at all in that THEY own your site and not the other way around. They are pretty easy to spot, just look for them adding in something to the domain name like: JustinsCoolWebsite.SOMETHING.com (or it might be switched around).

Hmmm that is a though!

The other problem is the insurance increase.  Cost of living is greater than income where we are now and it just got worse X( So we are getting by and trying to save to move. This neighboor hood  has a couple of rather scary neighboors into bad things Id rather be miles away from! One of those things yo wish you knew before buying a house!
We had a swat team in our yard last year casing their house...yea....

My husband wants a better job and then I could!

Ah ok yes! My husband an IT and now a security admin so I will leave it to him! XD

Goddamn postal service! I was worried that you hadn't got it at all! We had been watching the package and when it said delivered I had expected you to say something and we got worried that it hadn't been delivered to your house. (We've had that happen before, order something and it goes to the wrong address.)

I can't believe that it got soaked though! At least everything it okay. The painting were probably wrinkled before hand thanks to the watercolor, and since I had used water on them and not just left the pencil, they would be find. The box looks okay, seems to me like it has kid of a cool texture now. The main thing is the cards. I hoe those made it through okay. OH and the hand book! Is that okay?!

Gah, I think you should tell teh postal service to RING THE DOORBELL. I would. I would march right down tehr and say "What is wrong with you people, RING THE DOORBELL!" Among other really strong words.

BUT I'm really glad you got it and that in the end it's all good and that you like it! We decided not to tell you we were sending something so that it would be a surprise, but now I'm starting to think that may not have been a good idea. So much for faith in the postal service.

And I"m glad you like the drawings! They aren't my best but I did what I could with the little indent on the paper there. I think it looks cute though. I wanted to do something from the roleplay and I thought those were good ones.

I hope you and your husband enjoy it! If you have any questions ask us or if the handbook isn't completely useless at this point, then there's that.

YES! I just may still! If something is sent that is fragile to water and you know well its going to rain that day, put a plastic bag on it!!!! UPS and Fedex do, but not the us postal service nooo it's to much to ask and to much work to press a plastic button apparently! They did the same thing the day the plushies came! I waited all day for them and when 5pm came and went I was like... I better go look, sure enough home all day and they were sitting outside since probably 12 pm...really I don't get it!

Yeah Im sorry they fumbled that! It was nice being surprised like that but gah....if they would have put it by the other door we would have seen it before it rained!

They look amazing! Especailly the one of Kai! I love it! They don't spoil and are super cute!

The cards are perfect and unharmed the manual is ok only the first 10 pages were soaked but I laid the out to dry and they dried well!
You're paintings were fine also, they are in the best shape out of everything in there!
I love them all and will put the in a porfolio binder to keep them safe!
Thank you again!!   I will be sure to ask if I have any questions!!!
