Im starting to wonder if the guys in the FIM studio are eitehr forgetting their canon or trolling us.
First they said Luna and Celestia control the sun and moon. And in Heartwarming Eve, they so that the Unicorns did that. And now third Alicorn. What does she control, The raw powers of the elements? Actually, that sounds cool.
I just hope when they show the episode she is in, they explain the Alicorn race.

Keep in mind that the Hearths Warming Eve story took place long before Princess Celestia and Luna, so it was up to the unicorns to do it.

I'm not usually one for pink. But I have to say I do like that colours scheme of Cadence, with the inclusion of cream rather than another shade of pink or purple.
I hope Shining Armour gets a complete character when we see him in the show, and that he's not just there because Cadence needed a male counterpart.

I dont know who the left one is but the right one is princess a new alicorn lauren faust spoke about and she will be appering in the last episode of season 2 (dont quote me on the season 2 thing) no she is not oc but im not sure about the stallion on the left. Are you at ease now?

Shining Armor and Princess Cadence; a recent article at Equestria Daily (just search for "Cadence") noted that the actor who voiced Braeburn also voiced Armor.

Not much detail about the characters yet; they appeared in some official display artwork a little while ago (with Armor in more formal princey duds) and now word's getting around that they're in an upcoming episode. I think only Cadence is an alicorn, but can't be sure. Personally, I think she was inspired by Hasbro's overly-pink Celestia toy.
