That headcanon won't die for me just yet. It just evolved into this...
Cloud Skipper was adopted buy thestrials who already had a daughter named Florence. Skipper & Florence were good friends & as close as any other brother & sister...but sadly, Florence died at a very young age. Years later Cloud Skipper & Midnight Blossom have a foal. A daughter. She has the same coat, main & eye color of her fathers long dead adopted sister. As a result, they name her Florence, in memory of the aunt she never got to know.

well in one episode 2 earth ponies had a pegasus and Unicorn twins so to bats could probably have a pegasus.

According to ma larson bat ponies are a sub species of pegasai so I would assume bat ponies could totally make a pegsai more easily then pegsais could accidentally have a bat pony. Yay genetics
