Thestral, basically a bat pony. The little guy on the bottom right is named Cloud Skipper. But if this is a family photo, then that means that Cloud Skipper is not a pure blood Pegasus like I originally thought. But it DOES make his back story that much more interesting.OwO

I like the little details of this picture--no, not just the scarves and medallions, which are interesting, but the details that show the artist's keen observation of life. Like how the kids either aren't looking at the camera, or if they are they kind of have that wary, who-is-THIS-guy look that small children have directed at wielders of cameras since the daguerreotype came along.
But it'd just be another family grouping of somebody's OC's...
...except for the crease-marks. That tells an entire story, and a rather poignant one.
