This exercise in character design was some sort of raptor-based guy with wings and beak, and whose name indicated a condor of some kind. So I went the vulture direction and leaned into a western motif for the backdrop. It was a fun design challenge, thinking about feathers and textures of beak, bird, and metal as well as multiple light sources.
