Description
Another piece done at my grandparents when we were there for xmas. I've always loved mermaids and sirens, though I haven't been able to do a finished piece for some time. There are the few pieces in my scraps, and someday, I may get to finishing themEdit: I took off the mature content warning because it's nothing you don't see on the fairies in Fantasia and that is considered safe viewing for all
Media: Prismacolor pencil on pastel paper.

Another lovely mermaid. The texture of her head reminds me of Zoras. (legend of Zelda)

- wow, for some odd reason, I am very drawn to your aquatic girls. Humm.....maybe becouse I am a Cancer? Who know....but It would be awsome if you could draw a punk or cyber goth in your tyle of drawing of girls.
Well, keep ROCKEN

Oh, well, I'm sure I'll do more down the road, just for this set, four seemed to be the right number. The other two are going to be a satyre and a gorgon.

The highlights you did makes her look like glass (or see through). It makes a very nice effect

Beautiful work, as always. You know the "firebird" thing from fantasia is my favorite? It's so cool.

sweet! I love how the background is just touched lightly - and the figure is very wispy and bold at the same time. i really like it.

She really is lovely! The tail is especially nice and flowy. Aren't merpeople great to draw? The lack of strictness of legs is grand and fun! > ^-^<

I really like how this came out! The blue paper works really well and the white hightlights look good on it. Mature content? I don't think this is showing more than any barbie derobed and tossed around after Christmas
She really does look like a creature from the water as opposed to some mermaids that just look like they have the tail, good stuff will be interesting to see the series you do!

This is beautiful. The colors definately caught the water reflecting off of her (? I'm guessing it's not a male).

I'd take it off...but that's me. I've seen pictures with way more 'mature content' not put up the warning, and they weren't taken off.
This is adorable! I really like the colors, and the way you used them..it actually makes her looks wet! It's wonderful!

Very nice, and I like the no hair part. All that hair would only serve as un-hydrodynamic drag to a sea creature.

very realistic way to look at it. why would they need hair? honestly....

I think the rating might be a little high.. I mean, she's a mermaid, so she's covered in scales, right?
Nice interpretation of the mermaid!

Very, very pretty. I love how you forewent the stereotypical Long Flowing Locks thing and concentrated all that beautiful flow into the base of her tailfin instead.
