Description
This is the first time I've used coloured pencil on coloured paper. I really like how she turned out & it was a HUGE learning experience.Related content

That is very good texture and shading! I love the wild strands of pearls in her hair, and the webbing between her fingers is a nice detail.

Thankyou so much! I really enjoyed working on this piece.
I keep meaning to do another couple of pieces using this kind of technique, I just haven't got around to it yet! But I definitely will

I like the look of the toned paper. It worked out well. I'm adding this to my favorites. I'm pretty partial to mermaids

Just lemme pick myself up..... You actually wany a print of my work???
Man! You've just... well... I'm speechless! and VERY flattered!
You'd know more about this sorta stuff than I would, but would prints of this sorta thing (on the coloured paper, I mean) turn out alright?? and where the heck would I get that done?? I doubt that my little HP multifunction thingy would do a good enough job - It does do a very nice print, but probably not the kind of "quality" recommended for selling.....
Sorry, too many questions I know... But I value your advie & opinion!

Wow I'm flattered that you're flattered! *circle of flatterness* LOL... seriously it's adorable.. and I I hardly ever want prints so there ya go even more flattery
but I just love it to bits!! Maybe we can do an art swap one day
As for prints and stuff, I'm getting a print quality archival printer soonish, the newest model of the one Selina has, [in the next few months] and I was thikning of offering its services at good prices to friends and stuff so if you want I can do prints for ya!
Oh and as for the coloured paper, it'd just print out on plain paper but assuming the scan is good quality then it should be barely distinguishable

Very nice! I do love what you have achieved with her hair - it looks very silky and realistic. Her pose and expression are also great Coloured paper so fun to draw on...
