Both of these franchises are no strangers to crossovers, typically in comic form. Transformers has mostly famously done crossovers with GI Joe but has also crossed over with Star Trek, Marvel (both because its first comic was made by Marvel and through a regular crossover), Ghostbusters, and in toy form, it has also crossed over with Evangelion and Star Wars.

Power Rangers has done crossovers with the Justice League, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Godzilla.

So, how about these two franchises crossover with each other? If the Transformers meeting GI Joe and Cobra can be made to work, I don't see how a crossover with Power Rangers couldn't work. If anything, the idea makes more sense.

The photo I used was the original MMPR team, but other seasons could work. The first team to do a crossover with TF that comes to mind for me is actually Power Rangers In Space.
