reference ((official art btw) Β and she's basically an older more mature saber, though there are still elements of saber still in there. either way she's more king then knight in this state.

it's because she lost Excalibur, because in fate lore the scabbard stopped her from aging, so instead this artoria carries the holy lance rhongomyniad and rides a horse. other versions of this interpretation of artoria imply she's aware of her own "development" and on some level even proud of it. but simply doesn't see any need to flaunt it. i will say i would like to see how she'd react to getting her sword back. Which is what i plan to do with this besides you know, becoming a brainwashed slave. anyway i shall respond to the sub option now.
"Master!? I dont know anything about that, I just picked up a sword is all!" i had fallen back in shock from the woman suddenly appearing infront of me, clutching the sword that seemed to cause her spontaneousΒ manifestation in my arms like my life depended on it. it wasnt long before i was back on my feet, taking a few steps away from the mystery woman

The woman who seemed to just have this glow about her stared you down the entire time, as quickly it dawns on her that this may be far from a usual summon a Servant normally gets. As it seems that she was pulled her on accident, as this master seemed confused and lacked knowledge on what that item that had been used to pull her to the mortal plain.
Somewhere, one could almost sense the irony as an alternate counterpart felt the same, but she brushed off this feeling.
Slowly, she moved down from her trusty steed, petting its mane before she locked eyes with her would be master. "I see. Well no need to worry, I shall help clarify any confusion about this." The woman said, speaking with a tone that showcased her regal authority and power, but also had a subtle almost faint gentle tone behind it.

Her words atleast put me on the right track to calm. Atleast enough to not look like i was scared witless by her sudden appearance. Now i was just breathtaken and somewhat intimidated by the blonde woman as she went from towering over me on her horse to simply a head taller. My defensiveness over the sword lightened. "Okay...please. Do explain what's going on..." I could feel myself practically shrinking in her presence.

The woman glanced at you as they betrayed no expression; not happiness, not anger, not worry just this cool composure. She decided to address probably his most glaring questions about this situation.Β
"For one thing, you have summoned me from a realm beyond this. I am a Servant, known as a Heroic Spirit; a mystical figure if you will of a famed individual of this world. And you are the one who has pulled me here."Β

"Oh..I guess it was the sword that caused you to come here then." I look at the blade in its scabbard. Before timidly offering it to the woman. " I assume it belongs to you then...? Sorry, i didnt mean to summon you. I was just cleaning up after the guy that hired me, i saw the sword, went to look at it, got a nasty cut and then you appeared and-" i pause. Only now considering what i was saying. "shit he meant to sacrifice me, didnt he?""

"I see. A sacrificial lamb you may have been intended, but as it stand, you are my master." The woman replied in kind as she glanced at the sword in question that he had used to bring her to this plain. "Pass me the blade, I figure it would be better in my hands." The woman spoke as she extended a hand as she offered to take the sword in question you cut yourself on.

I hand the sword over to the regal looking woman. "Well. Atleast i feel better about my chances with you around. I think I'd like to leave considering my situation." Even with my state of distress i found myself captivated by her practically glowing beauty. And not just because of how developed she was. "We should probably introduce ourselves. I'm Ryan. And you are?"

The woman said nothing, but at the mention of needing to leave she nodded as the well endowed former king quickly moved back up her trusty steed as she placed her blade in its hilt before she extended a hand out to you.
"You can call me Saber."Β

"pleasure to meet you..." I nod. Staring captivated before snapping to my senses, i took the servant's hand and got up on the horse with her assistance. Holding onto her waist as she made our escape. (Likely by her smashing through a window)
I guide the woman back to my home and lock the door behind us. Leaving the horse outside for obvious reasons. "Uh. Make yourself at home Saber, my house is your house and all that..." even while i was skittering about to make accomodations i still found myself drawn to Saber's enchanting, regal appearance.

"Thank you, do you have some sort of stable or outside area my horse can use? Or do you mind if he share the interior?" Saber asked, her tone kept that perfect mix of polite sophistication but also a commanding presence to it. She stroked the horse's man as she locked eyes with you as there seemed to be a glow about her; both from her body and her almost enchanting eyes as she awaited an answer.

"i mean... It could probably stay in the backyard but i dont know much about caring for horses." I found myself drawn to her. Unable to break eye contact. "So is saber like an Alias or is that your actual name?

"You do not need to worry, it is a Heroic Spirit to. As such, like myself, it does not need to eat or sleep. So long as your Command Seals provide Mana." Saber explained as she explained the red marks on his wrist and their function as she let the horse out before she went to answer his question. "It is the name of my Servant Class."Β

"So if I'm getting this straight. I've stumbled across a small conflict that happens every sixty years. Where i am highly at risk of death. Where a bunch of wizards fight over the holy grail?" And there was the plain panic prevalent on my face once more. Only now somewhat mitigated by Saber's Regal aura "Dont suppose i can just wait this out huh..?'

"I am afraid unless we strike luck and the other masters have their servants slay each other, we won't get such a luxury. So we must be prepared for that if it comes as it most likely will be an inevitability." Saber explained, as indeed she'd rather her master be prepared for this rather than feed him false hope of avoided conflict.Β

"oh...well. i feel like you'd be better off taking the lead on this whole grail war thing. i'm just a guy that took an odd job because i needed money and now this beautiful woman is in my living room telling me ive been pulled into a damn battle royale!" i paused, realizing what i said about the woman to her face in my inane rambling. "So... What should we do saber?

At this, Saber turned to you with her intense but undeniably beautiful eyes as she locked with hers with your own. "Simple, I have a way to get that stress out of your head and help you focus on the task at hand. So I need you to merely trust me and follow my lead, for a bit anyhow. Can I count on that from you..." Saber said, her voice had that same assurance and commanding presence, but a gentleness to it and odd soothing backdrop to it all.

I was caught in her captivating gaze almost instantly. Its piercing yet warm emerald hue Actually making me feel better already even if only a little bit. "Y..yeah. i can do that..." My tone was that of strange Awe as i looked at her regal, almost glowing figure.

"Good, that's all I ask of you. So simple, just know that as long as I am here you are safe. So focus on me and we will be okay..." Saber said, her tone had that gentle assurance behind it as her eyes seemed to shimmer a bit.

"Focus on you...Okay..." She was right. I did feel better. Safer even. MyΒ body relaxes. To the point of unsteadiness even. "As long as you're here..." I find myself resting on the nearby couch. Looking up at the woman.

She makes sure to keep her rather beautiful gaze locked with yours. Her aura beings about this calmness, this security that just causes her words to melt into your body and mind. "That's right, know nothing can go wrong so long as I am here. So long as you listen to me and focus only on me...do you understand?" Saber said with a voice that would send the enthralling shiver down one's spin.

I shuddered at her comforting words. Nodding slowly "yes. As long as you're here..." My legs weakened as a cloudy sort or drowsiness seemed to gather. "Saber...Saber i feel...wierd..." I stumble backward slightly. My eyes practically locked with hers.

"It's okay, it's okay. I am here for you." Saber said, as she moved to offer a hand to your back to help stabilize you, this also allowed her almost enchanting eyes to gaze deeper into yours as she was closer and you had a better view of them. "And how you feel isn't weird, but natural. It has been a long day and you've taken in so much as it is. Understandable you'd be a bit shaky.Β

I nod at her words, my foggy mind hanging on every syllable she spoke. Meanwhile the hand offered to stabilize me only seemed to make me fall into it. Staring captivated by her gaze i looked like I was the damsel being rescued by the knight in armor. Which, to be fair was an accurate assessment.

"Now then, let your knight care for you. You have a lot of stress, a lot of worry of what may or may not come. No need to concern yourself with that. Such thoughts like that only raise anxiety needlessly. Let me handle it, let me handle everything. You can put your trust in me, I won't let you down. I will care for you..." Saber said with that milk smooth tone of hers as her eyes shimmered as if a radiant glow brought that greater energy behind her words.

The glow seemed to be copying itself into my eyes as i gazed in sleepy awe up at her. "You're right Saber...i can trust you..." I found my various worries; the fact that i barely knew what was going on, the fact that i was supposed to be dead as a sacrifice, all of it slowly faded into a pleasant feeling of heaviness. I didnt have to worry. Saber would keep me safe.

"Very good, that is all I ask of you. Just trust me and relax, combating those nerves is the first step we need to take. I know you have it in you, let me merely be your guide..." Saber advised, her tone carried that mixture of regal authority with the strength & security that came with it but also a gentle comfort to further ease you as her shimmering eyes kept locked with your own.

(well for the fate franchise I'd go for minamoto no raikou, tamamo no mae, mata hari, schaherazade and Quetzalcoatl, and i have some non-fate girls that'd be great, like kali belladonna, lucoa, and some of the senran kagura cast)
My eyes fluttered open and closed softly. Drifting in and out of the waking world. My body hanging limp in saber's arms. But it was fine because saber was there. She'd take care of me.."so tiree...gonna..rest my eyes..."

(I see I see. All good options for Fate, I admit I also have Ishtar on consideration for one so consider this options for future candidates. The other series girls sound fun to I will look into them and see what inspires me. Thank you for the suggestions.)
"That is all I ask. Rest your eyes and let my voice guide you to blissful slumber. You earned that much master..." Saber said, as she stroked your head to offer you a place of comfort on her body as she tried to encourage you to rest those eyes and fully surrender.

On those words. My eyes closed again. Saber would feel my entire body deadweight against hers in her arms. A soft snoring coming from me. I was out like a light from her treatment

Saber would smile, easily able to hold your weight as she stroked the back of your head in comfort. She would let you rest easy even as she began to speak once more. "Can you hear me?" Saber asked with an oh so gentle tone, firm enough to be heard but not loud enough to disturb your rest.

I groan softly in my sleep. Nodding slowly to her words to confirm that yes, while i was in a deep sleep i could hear her words with perfect clarity.

"Good, very good. Just rest easy against me. From now on, you will know that trust in me is the key to things. And naturally you will feel comfortable placing your trust and command into me. Do you understand?" Saber asked with a soothing tone as she smiled and stroked your head gently.

"Place my trust and command in you" i nod. My head leaning into her hand as i slept. It was surprising how good it felt. maybe this "grail war" thing wouldnt be so bad after all if i just followed her orders...

"That's right, I will be your sword and shield. This war will not touch you, so long as you follow my lead & my word. I assure you that much." Saber spoke once more, a warm smile on her lips as she gently brushed your head.

"I'll be safe if i trust saber..." i drone back to the woman. Sleeping soundly with a newfound sense of security thanks to her assurances. Not to mention i just felt... right. Like this was were i was supposed to be somehow

So you will have no issues following my word...my commands, it will be your desire..." Saber said with that soothing but firm tone of hers that she had mastered to a T.

"your commands...my desires...." I parroted back in my sleep. Every word spoken out of her mouth becoming an absolute truth. I had gone from scared out of my wits to trusting this woman with my life with but a few words and an induced sleep.

Saber smiled, clearly pleased with this development as she stroked your head and kept you close to her before she would speak again. "Very good, now then...I have a few questions I'd like to know. It is natural for one to be familiar with all they can when summoned here, so any question no matter how personal you will feel no shame in giving an honest answer to. Cause you know you can trust me. Do you understand?"

Saber smiled as she decided with an ice breaker first, something simple and easy he could answer just to make sure the trigger worked as intended.Β
"Okay, first tell me your name...something interesting about yourself, and how deeply in this state you feel you are in?"

"My name...is Ryan....i listen to hypnosis files as a sleep aid... this is the deepest i have gone since i begain doing so..." I droned softly. My head slowly shifting as i slept in more or less a bridal carry.
