Being a con man was hard enough, but being a con man in a world full of magic and otherworldly creatures? Honestly, prison was better then this. I saw Miss Xiao Long arriving as I heard her complaints and chuckled slightly, holding up a hand in reassurance. “Don’t worry your pretty little blonde head on anything, Miss. You will get your reward as promised. Who knows? You may even enjoy what I have for you this evening.” I say with a charming wink as I hold my suitcase and fix my tie.

“Humph, alright well let’s get it over with. So what did you need from the coolest and strongest student at Beacon, hu?” She said, flipping her hair with an arrogant smirk.

“Cocky....” I thought to myself chuckling, “I like em like that.” I cleared my throat as I looked to her and held the suitcase tightly. “Well, some guys in the club kinda owe me some money, but.....I’m not exactly, err, welcome there. Therefore, I need a fresh face, a pretty face to do a little digging for me, are you interested?”

“You want ME to do some sneaky, espionage... spy stuff? Hardcore!” She replied, hand on her hip. “Half the fee now, half later seem fair? And how do you want me to sneak in?”

“Sounds incredibly perfect to me.” I nod, opening one of the suitcases to hand her a wad of cash. “That’s your half.” Her enthusiasm about the job was almost infectious, but I had to keep my cool if I was going about this right. “Just walk in, keep your cool. There’ll be a man in a distant table who will have something he owes me...something valuable that is also part of your fee as for doing this job.”

“Yeesh, really putting a lot into the ‘mysterious’ angle there, pal.” She counts the cash and pockets it. “But the pay’s good, so I’ll roll with it. Just point me in the direction of the club and we can get this show on the road!” She said smiling at what seemed to be a simple job.

“What Good is business if not a lil fun?” I chuckle, sighing and pointing to a small building around the corner. “Over there, our client is in there and should be staying there until later. Under no circumstances are you to open that briefcase.” I hand her an earpiece and place one in my ear, “I’ll be communicating with you just to be sure everything runs smoothly.”

The club itself was a seedy looking place, a neon sign with a spiral design outside on top was shinning brightly as numerous people were entering in and exiting it. Music was blaring inside, a live band playing some nice jazz over a few sick beats were flowing in as folks off all kinds were conversing and doing their usual tricks of the trade

“Look, I don’t care if the board finds it unethical, I just need to get this deal done!” A red headed lady growled into her phone. She was dressed in a turquoise turtleneck with a black blazer over it and skirt covering her pantyhose legs. She sighed and looked around the place, trying to find her client as she began to grow bored. As she placed a hand to her chin, she found yang walking her way over to the table and rose an eyebrow, “I’ll have a scotch on the rocks, extra spiked.” She grunted, not knowing who’s she was here for

The lady looks up as she blinked twice, clearly bamboozled. “Ugh, just cause my account name was a guy doesn’t mean I am one!” She groaned, knowing that I forgot her name by mistake as she began shaking Yang’s hand, “May Hawksford. I assume the debt you’re here to pay is of our common man’s?”

“Ah ah ah, just how do I know you’re with him?” May asked skeptically, eyeing yang up and down. She didn’t want to admit it, but she was rather fetching....tho business came first before pleasure. “Don’t hey me wrong, you’re pretty good, but I don’t give away prizes for free to just anyone.”

“Hmmmmm, good question.” May asked as she tapped her finger on the suitcase on her lap. “Tell you what, show me a nice time and maybe I’ll consider it well.”

Hearing yang restrain herself was honestly amusing to May, gaining a chuckle out of her as she smirked and nodded. “Oh goody! For a moment, I thought you would absolutely refuse!” She said as she laughs softly, “you must be famished after arriving here, why not take a look at the menu?”

What else would you have been doing tonight?” May asked as she looked at the menu, then back up to the waitress. “A burger and seasoned fries please, with ranch on the side!” As the waitress left, May popped her feet open a bit in her heels to allow for some air to breeze in, sighing in relief as she sat back

May listened as yang described her dream, having a chuckle at her showcasing and nodded. “Yes, I suppose that is quite a dream, you have a sister?” She says, fixing her hair as she looks down to her heels. “Hmm? Yes, i got them just a few days ago actually. Tho they can be a little uncomfortable at times, you get used to it.”

“Oh you have no idea.” She chuckles, thinking back to her mercenary days before she joined up with the company she was working for. “Plenty of ass I’ve kicked and kissed. You said you wanted to learn how to fight in heels, why is that?”

Not saying I don’t like my current look, but looking a bit more... feminine might not be a bad idea sometimes, ya know?” She shared, flipping her long hair. Yang was getting quite comfortable with this woman, feeling a nice connection with her.

“I hear ya on that.” May nods as she clicks her heels together, “a little usage of feminine charms wouldn’t be so bad from time to time. Makes seduction missions a lot easier than usual!” She sighs as their food arrives, taking a sip of her water as she looks at yang from the corner of her eye

Yang blushes at the mention of seduction and her heels clicking. “Y-yeah, I imagine. You some kind of special agent or something” Yang munches on her nachos and takes a deep drink from her Yellow Sunrise.

“Well, you could say that.” May smirks, taking a bite out of her burger as she washes it down with some water. “My company has me scout out some high intel personal to sell some items to, such as our little friend that you’re doing a favor for. What are you? Some sorta of mercenary? A little young to be one.”

“Ah, should’ve figured you were in school still.” She says as she looks to her briefcase, smirking. “This, is the object that your dear old boss wants. Too bad he’ll have to wait a while for it, but oh well. A little patience never hurt anyone.”

At hearing this, May pondered her options as she nodded, knowing the feeling all too well as she bit into some fries. “Honestly, reminds me of the job I have....” she sighs, looking to yang then back to the briefcase for a quick moment
