"Well, just a little something. Here hold on a sec..." Blake said before she opened her desk and shuffled around inside. Before long she pulled out a silver & black pocket watch and held it before your eyes.Β
"A relaxation technique. Mind if you focus on the watch for me? Curious to see how it works..." Blake said as she began to swing the watch before your eyes.

"Yeah sure, sounds fun." I look directly at the watch.

"Very good. No just go ahead and breath in and out. Getting relaxed will only help with this and make you feel so much better." Blake said, her voice more soothing as she swung the pretty pocket watch before your eyes.Β

My eyes follow the watch, "Alright." I take a deep slow breath

"Very good. Just keep breathing in and out as you focus on the watch. Follow it as it swings back and forth...back and forth..." Blake instructed with a soothing tone.

"Focus...alright..." I nod breathing slowly

"That's it. Just focus and relax. Let those thoughts and worries fade in the background. Not for good, but just for this moment. A moment where you can enjoy yourself as you focus and the watch and relax more and more..." Blake said with an ever soothing voice while the watch swung back and forth.Β

"That's right. Just feel your enjoyment and relaxation grow as you watch the watch swing back and forth...back and forth..." Blake said with a smile as she swung the watch before your eyes.

"That's right. And the arc of the watch just draws you in. You cannot look away, nor do you want. You want to lose yourself, to let your thoughts subside as you stare deeper and deeper into it." Blake said as she swung the watch back and forth all the more.
