Awesome picture,man. One of the best Godzilla films, and one which has inspired my treatment for a potential monster-comedy called Giant Monsters Attack Tokyo, which is on this website. In this story, Gorgilla, most feared of the Kaiju-an, battles Barikon, a Terrestrial Guardian, whose name is a combination of Kong and the Japanese fighting art, baritsu. Godzilla 2014 is defs going to win. He's as taller than the Empire States Building while King Kong is only as tall as the top of a domed empire building.

Nice artwork. You could definitely go into comic art. Although, I have to admit that I'm not a fan of that movie. Mainly because my favorite giant monster lost in a fight that he should've won.Β

Depends King kong is physically stronger and more agile than Godzilla not to mentioned he was able to take Godzilla's atomic breath with little damage so king kong can knock out Godzilla but not kill him.

What I meant to say is that if it were the real King Kong (Original, smaller version that was killed by bullets from planes) he would've lost. I just don't like how they made Kong so much bigger and even gave him that lightning ability just so he could win. I get that Godzilla was just a villain back then and they wanted a happy ending. But I'm still more of a Godzilla fan and the end felt forced to me. Although I don't know much about the movie beyond that since I only saw clips of the actual fight and not the entire film.

Apparently the original firstΒ king kong was Godzilla size "or very close"Β weird but interesting it might be why they made him the same size has Godzilla in the movie apart from the fact that two equal size giant monsters fighting is more entertaining than a short monster vs a big one. The electrical powers I don't know why they made him have that ability but I guess it could make sense since we ourselves do produce electricity and king kong being bigger and harrier isΒ just able to produce more. I do agree that the ending is weird I would have ended it in a tie or them fighting a common enemy and settling the dispute for another day.

In the film King Kong was given electrical powers when he either absorbs man-generated electricity or natural lightning. The aim was to give Kong some kind of weapon that would actually be effective against Godzilla (Who for the sake of that movie was weak against electricity).Β

You can't judgeΒ Godzilla byΒ that fight for so many reasons.Β He is tough enough to survive a H-Bomb, a black hole, the Absolute Zero Cannon, and a city busting meteorite. King Kong was killed by six F8C-5 Helldiver Navy planes.
Not to mention his most recent incarnation is only 25 feet tall. Godzilla's is over a hundred times bigger. So Kong can climb the Empire State Building... Godzilla knock it down with his tail, or blow it up with his Atomic breath.

In the original, Toho stated that King Kong had been victorious. I feel like if they had a rematch then it would be Godzilla's win since he's got a whole lots more in his arsenal now than at that time.
