I love Turtledove's alternate Civil War books about the turn of time after the Battle of Shiloh when British forces landed on the Gulf Coast.

I really wish there was some sort of movie or series adaptation of the novels, it would be visually interesting

There's a miniseries I believe that was int he making called 'confederate' taking place in modern era after a successful secession. Not sure if it got nixed because of SJW blowback though.

Unsure but I think that was basic "Confederacy wins" premise rather than directly adapting from Turtledove(had it been from the novels it might had gotten less blowback). The only "Confederate Victory" scenario that has gained mainstream(and limited at that) is the CSA Mocumentary, which is really good if not incredibly over the top as an alternate history.

Not bad! I am a HUGE fan of Harry Turtledove! In fact, I was inspired to make fiction based off of his work, in the same genre.

It's from a Henry Turtledove book. I don't know too muchΒ of the specifics of the setting as I haven't gotten to that book yet. Seems it though

Hey, thanks again! This looks great! Yeah, this is intended as an interpretation of the uniform worn by Confederate soldiers during Harry Turtledove's "Settling Accounts" series, part of the greater TL-191 timeline.Β
I say Confederate Army as opposed to the Freedom Party Guardsmen, the military-arm of the Freedom Party.
The submachine-gun here is the M2 Hyde.
Again, thank you! Good work all around. Hope it was fun making it!
