They'd been on that planet for years now. The Federation was dug in deep and it was a bitter slog through mud and debris pushing in. what's worse is they have a tunnel system connecting most of the larger settlements and surface-to-orbit gun emplacements that the imperials had been having a difficult time of taking those, so Terran soldiers could just keep funneling in as reinforcements.
The two had been trudging forward for a while now. The occasional gunfight between remnant forces in captured regions, or prepping for an offensive behind the meatshields of the clone soldiers pushed to the front. Regardless, they had made it through it all.
Rest was always appreciated where they could get it

Been told I need to have more stories and perspectives from the imperial side, so I'm making some. Everyone only really knows about the terrans and most people just know th empire as the faceless swarms of disposable clones. But they've got a lot more to them so I figured I'd make some more imperial art
