The once lit streets, boasting neon advertisements for an array of businesses, now replaced with the warm glow of a raging fire. Ash and cinders descended from the skies over the skeletal remains of bombed out buildings, cars, and corpses. The noise of traffic gone. Just the distant rattling of machinegun fire and the occasional flash of light marking an explosion. Shadows danced across the streets from the three as the group moved forward. Aside from the distant sounds of combat, everything was completely quiet. They had scrambled their radios as soon as the area was taken by the imperial forces so they had no communication with anyone around.

All they could do now was survive and regroup with friendly lines.
