Description
Introducing the new face of the Staevik Union. The Staevik Infantry Trooper.Made for setting of mine.
Heavily modified troopers with bionic enhancements, control chips, and many times being so modified to only having a mere single percent of organic left in them, these troopers no longer feel pain, and can be controlled on a whim by the control chips implanted in them. Wearing thick armor, and carrying heavy weapons, these augmented battalions are prepared for anything.
Though, these soldiers are merely their standard unit. The Conscripts and penal battalions get less armor, and then theres the heavier units. The ones even the Terrans fear.
The Staevik Union's actual military (subtracting penal battalions and conscript infantry) is very small, as with their navy. However, they're so heavily armored and have the highest level of firepower, that they can easily withstand numerous enemies.
I figured that if I'm about to start a large scale war, that all my troopers and armor will be as up-to-date and redrawn as I can get them.
Humanity must evolve. Synthetics are the way forward. The Staevik Union is the light and all must follow.

Pretty cool ain't it? Latin stuff is the tits.
Should've read the description. It still looks cool.
Anytime, So do any other factions have armor like this?

I'm currently trying to do Armor for every faction. Light Armors, medium, heavy ones. Though, I haven't touched any of the heavy ones yet.

The pelvic design helped make the armor look surprisingly--like a walking skeleton--in the thumbnail.

oh? Huh. It doesn't look that way to me, but to each his own, right?

larqven In reply to goeliath [2015-03-03 07:42:57 +0000 UTC]
Of course.Β
The thumbnail gave the impression of the hip and belly armor being like the sacrum of the pelvis, the spine, and the diode things looking like space between ribs.Β I wondered if it was some scary 'paint on bones' before I clicked the thumbnail.

That armor is pretty impressive! I wonder if they can still take it off, or if it is in part permanent. With all the synthetics and bionics and stuff ...
π: 0 β©: 1
goeliath In reply to Walt-Marsters [2015-03-03 05:10:58 +0000 UTC]
yes they can actually. they're not conscripts or penal battalions, so they're still given the freedom to remove their armor (though, conscripts aren't given these full body armors, so conscripts can too.)
I'll be uploading more armors later

I should probably create an updated Bio on these guys.
Yes, there's volunteers. Those patriots that volunteer are 'rewarded', often recieving more freedom than others, or in some cases recieving non-visible implants to maintain their human look.
However none of this matters, as once you're in, your a slave to the government
