Another piece of fan-art for that fantastic fan-fic, 's The Grind. This time around, it's a dream sequence from Chapter 38.

Before her eyes, his fur began to change color in an explosion of blindingly-bright light. Under any other circumstances she would’ve looked away, squinted at the least- but she couldn’t tear her gaze away from the glory of such ethereal beauty. Sonic’s eyelids burst open again, his red eyes, tiny pools of fire against a sea of light, burning with intensity. His subtle blue coloration (almost translucent against the shadowy background) had been replaced, transformed into the most brilliant shade of golden yellow. The spikes running down his head and back stood on end, small crackles of electricity radiating both on and around his form.

Again, the story is all 's. I did this pic purely from memory, hence the innaccuracies to the scene itself; sorry, Sam. >_<
