Description This advanced metriodyle (crocodilian) is adapted to a hunting life in the oceans. It's shark-like frame is pure coincidence, they evolved separately in cases of convergent evolution. The specific name Charcarodylus borealis means "northern shark crocodile".

This creature's armor is non-hindering to it's speed. The bite of this large predator is equal to it's amphibious relative. The creature is purely aquatic, and cannot move freely on land. While it may not be very agile on land, it's power makes up for it.

The animal's sheer mass is enough to injure prey. It's 13-tonne frame is supported on land by specialized ribs that extend all the way to the point that the tips of each rib touches the rib parallel to it, and the fact that the entire belly is made up of fat and scutes just below the skin.

This large predator specializes in large marine game, but it can adapt to changes in it's environment. It lacks binocular vision, and is one of the more intelligent of the crocodilians.

It's primary attack method for marine prey is similar to that of a shark, grab the prey item and leap into the air, biting down on the prey's spine and crushing it, as well as penetrating the windpipe.
